The Cub Section
Our Cub Section is open to all youngsters between the ages of eight and ten and a half.
but, what do we do and is Scouting for you?
Well, Scouting is about reading maps
and finding your way with a compass
and tying knots,
but there’s much, much more to it than that
In today’s Cub Pack you might find yourself
in the drivers seat of a fire-engine,
sounding the siren,

or you might find yourself at the top
or you might be practicing >>---archery--->
you might be saving someone’s life, or .....
.... there’s so much more we do than we can fit in here.
At the Tenth you get the chance to
go to camp during
the summer,
or you can stay in our cottage up in the m
ountai
ns in Wales,
we even took our

for a weekend in London a few years ago.
Scouting is about making friends
not only at the Tenth
but across Birkenhead
across Merseyside
across the country
and across the world
Scouting is about having fun but Scouting is also about respect.
We’ll respect you if you respect us.
