Our Scout section is open to all youths aged between ten and a half, and fourteen years of age.
We run a varied programme of activities; traditional core skills mixed well with a modern slant on life.
Sure, you’ll learn how to look after yourself, useful when your parents are away, but there’s much, much more to Scouting than knots and woggles. Scouting is about meeting people and making friends. Scouting is about making contacts that last for life. Scouting is about getting away from your old folks. Scouting is about enjoyment with respect.
At The Tenth you’ll enjoy yourself, there’s no doubt about that, you’ll scale climbing walls, you’ll spend weekends away from home, summer camps with archery and rifle shooting, LazerQuest®, visits to the Emergency Services.
