Ashworth Valley Scout Camp.
Well, we’ve booked the site for our Summer Camp, we’re off to the Ashworth Valley Scout Camp, situated between Rochdale and Bury, the site looks to have everything our Sections require.
The Summer Camp is changing this year, with our Cubs heading out first for the last week in July, followed the next week by our Scout Section and, something we’ve hoped to do for a number of years now, our Beavers will have the opportunity to visit the camp for a day.
Our Section Leaders are hard at work putting together exciting programmes and although their days out haven’t yet been decided, rumour has it that the Cubs might be ‘horsing around’ at some point during the week.
