Mersey Tunnel Tour
Our Scout Section went on the Mersey Tunnel Tour in March 2011.
For those who don’t know, Wirral has two road tunnels linking it to that great City of Liverpool. The first tunnel to be opened, in 1953, was the Queensway tunnel. It is in and around Queensway that the tour takes place.
Our Scouts behaved impeccably, as usual, and we extend our thanks to the operators of the tunnels, Merseytravel, and to our two guides.
